Weekend Watchlist: MLB playoffs, and a classic Pats’ rivalry

This weekend the NLCS between the Cardinals and Giants continues, and also marks the end of preseason play for the NBA. Oh, and don’t forget, Pats fans…the Jets are in town!

MLB:

Tonight, the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants will go up against each other in Game 5 of the NLCS. The Cards lead the series 3-1. Game time is 8:00 p.m., and you can catch all the action on Fox.

If that series doesn’t wrap up tonight, Game 6 will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, and Game 7 will be at 8 p.m. on Monday. Both will be covered on Fox.

NFL:

The New England Patriots and New York Jets will go head-to-head for the first time this season at 4:25 p.m. in Foxboro this Sunday. You can catch all that action live on CBS.

NBA:

The Celtics have a pair of pre-season games this weekend. On Saturday, they’ll travel out to Albany to take on the New York Knicks. You can catch that game at 7:30 p.m. on CSN. On Sunday, tune into CSN at 7:30 p.m. to see the Celtics host the Philadelphia 76ers.
