Dallas Cowboys’ Twitter blunder

Published On January 8, 2013 | By Jill Saftel

The writer behind the Dallas Cowboys Twitter account made a serious error when they retweeted DallasCowboys.com staff writer Josh Ellis’ comment regarding the approaching report date for pitchers and catchers and made a crack at the NHL.

The tweet was quickly deleted, but the damage was done and the screen shots had been taken. But the Dallas Stars proved why hockey players have a reputation for being the toughest guys in sports with a wisecrack of their own, taking a stab at Tony Romo.

The Dallas Cowboys tweeted an apology and the Stars replied with their acceptance. Here’s to hoping the Dallas sports teams can get along.
