“Harlem Shake” MLB Edition

Published On March 14, 2013 | By Tyler Scionti

Terry Francona seems to be enjoying his return to baseball, so much in fact that he’s been dancing quite a bit around the Cleveland Indians clubhouse. The latest viral video craze, the “Harlem Shake,” has swept through the Tribe as they released their latest video on the internet.

It all starts off as an ordinary day in Spring Training; Tito walks in to give the players a little talk about hustle. Then things pick up when the music kicks in and Francona starts rocking side to side. Then pandemonium ensues as the entire Cleveland Indians team appears in costume dancing sequences in the clubhouse, weight room, and what appears to be a parking garage (really your guess is as good as mine).

Before I spoil the fun anymore, here’s the video below for your enjoyment.

If you’re interested in knowing the players behind the goofy costumes, here are a few notable stars from the Indians roster courtesy of Tribe Vibe.

Nick Swisher: Ohio State Football star.

Jason Giambi: Green Man.

Justin Masterson: Human Bear.

Ubaldo Jimenez: Reno 911 Cop.

Mark Reynolds: Camo Man.

Feel free to check out the rest of the stars in the video. Professional sports require a great deal of work and dedication, but the ability to unwind and have a little fun is key to the success of any team, and we’re just glad the Indians wanted to share some of their fun with the fans.
