Quote of the Week- Kevin McHale

Published On April 14, 2016 | By shesgamesports

During a reunion dinner this week with Boston Celtics greats from the 1966, 1976, and 1986 teams, the always quotable Kevin McHale was asked who would win a seven game series between the ’86 Celtics and the ’16 Golden State Warriors.

“If we played our rules in ’86, we would win because those poor guys, we’d just beat them up. If we played today’s rules, they would probably win because we’d all foul out. It’s two different eras. I loved the era I played in and wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

(Pretty sure Larry, Robert, DJ, and Danny would all agree)
