Many react to sanctions NCAA imposes on PSU
Early Monday morning the NCAA released the penalties that the Penn State team, players, and coaches will face going forward. There have been many reactions to the repercussions the PSU program will face from current and former players, and fans.
Some comments include:
Derek Moye (former PSU WR and current New Orleans Saint): “How does punishing current & future players do anything for the victims?”
Nate Cadogan (senior PSU tackle): “It also didn’t involve the current players either, but we have shoulder another’s mistake…and we’re very aware it’s not a game”

According to USA Today Sports, former Penn State tight end Kyle Brady said, “Had the death penalty been for one year, maybe it would not have been as bad as this…All teams have mountains to climb. This one is as big as any anyone has had to climb. There’s still the stigma, the damage to the brand; to add this is going to be devastating for a long time.”
Tim Sweeney, president of the Penn State Football Letterman’s Club, commented on the punishments, saying, “The penalties and bans imposed on the Penn State Football program by the NCAA are severely damaging well beyond the stated time frame.”
