Tigers’ Justin Verlander dating Kate Upton
Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are both officially off the market.
Rumors have been buzzing since July about a possible romance between Detroit Tigers pitcher Verlander, 29, and Sports Illustrated swim suit model Upton, 20.
In the past week, those rumors have only intensified, as the pair has been spotted getting cozy together a few times in Detroit in the last few days.
According to Celebuzz, the duo confirmed they were dating on Oct. 12.
Verlander’s grandfather, Richard Verlander Sr., gave the scoop to Celebuzz, saying, “I heard he has been on dates with a Sports Illustrated girl. I saw a photo — she’s beautiful.”
Upton has even cheered on Verlander from the stands.
“She was at his first game in Detroit against Oakland,” he said of the Oct. 6 playoff game between the Tigers and Athletics.
Upton most recently posed nude for the November issue of Cosmopolitan. In her interview, Upton told the world what she looks for in a man.
“I find a sense of humor sexy in a man. Someone who is just relaxed and can have a good time.”
