Design a "YOUniform" for the Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers are giving a whole new meaning to getting fans involved.

The Brewers are holding a “Design a YOUniform” contest in which fans can submit their own designs for jerseys that the Brewers will wear for a Spring Training game in 2013.

If you are an artistic sports fan who would like your artistic abilities to be seen, this could be the contest for you.

Requirements for this contest are: Original artwork only, but you may use existing Brewers logos, must be submitted as a  JPG, GIF, or PNG (2MB maximum file size), and for best display results upload at 72dpi, no larger than 1700×1350.

For complete contest details visit the Milwaukee Brewers MLB website.

Personally I would stick with the traditional colors of gold, white, and navy blue as well as the original logo of the Brewers, but you can do anything you want. You can pick new colors, design a new logo, and who knows…maybe they are looking for different and unique.

Here are two examples that fans have already submitted to the contest:

Design by Thomas from Folsom, CA (http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/fan_forum/youniform.jsp?loc=gallery)

Design by Chris from Neenah, WI (http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/fan_forum/youniform.jsp?loc=gallery)

If this contest goes well, maybe other baseball teams will hold the same contest. I’m sure we would all love the chance to design a Red Sox Spring Training uniform!

How would you design a uniform? Which team would you like to design a new uniform for? Let us know!
