Gameday recipe: Spicy cheese dip

Even with the Patriots having Sunday off, there are still plenty of good games to tune into. Here is a very simple dip that you can make minutes before kick off that is sure to be a crowd favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
  • 2 pounds cheese, cubed (like Velveeta or even cheddar)
  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, with liquid
  • 1 bag tortilla chips

Directions

Place ground beef and ground pork sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt cheese . Stir in diced tomatoes with green chile peppers while cheese is melting.

Drain ground beef and ground sausage. Mix into the cheese mixture. Transfer to a medium dish and serve warm with tortilla chips.
