When looking for a Mother’s Day gift, it may seem like the nice (and charitable) thing to do to purchase mom one of the many Mother’s Day special edition items the MLB sells since a portion of the proceeds goes to charity. But in the heat of the moment, it may be difficult to figure out which item gives the highest percentage of proceeds to charity and which items are way overpriced simply because they’re a special edition item.

This bracelet shows support both for mom’s favorite team and for breast cancer, and the sleek, one-size fits all coil design isn’t too “in your face” with the baseball theme, meaning mom can wear it pretty much anywhere while still looking stylish. While the Red Sox offer many other non-Mother’s Day bracelets, none are of a similar design, so this is a semi-unique item.

The collector mom may also be interested in a Mother’s Day bat. This item also gives the largest percentage of the proceeds to charity out of all items highlighted in this post. It seems, however, that the Red Sox might be making an extra profit on this item, as it is $20 more than the standard collectible bat.
