Happy Mother’s Day: Athletes & their moms
In honor of Mother’s Day, here are a few of our favorite Boston athletes with their moms, because they certainly wouldn’t be where they are now without these ladies.
Even though he’s not a Celtic anymore, who can forget Ray Allen‘s mother and her custom bedazzled jersey. She definitely spent her time in Boston out cheering everyone, and we loved the enthusiasm.

Victor Cruz doesn’t play here, but as a UMass alum he has ties to the area, and won our hearts when he showed he’s just as awesome off the field as he is on it when he reached out to a family affected by the Newtown shooting tragedy. His momma raised a good one.
