1. Rick Porcello’s birth name is Frederick Alfred Porcello III.
2. Porcello is the maternal grandson of Sam Dente who played for the Cleveland Indians in the 1954 World Series.
3. Porcello graduated high school from Seton Hall Prep in New Jersey with a GPA of 3.94
