Arian Foster using Globe column for motivation, Twitter avatar

Arian Foster has gotten some motivation for Sunday’s playoff game against the Patriots from an unlikely place – The Boston Globe.

Dan Shaughnessy sounded off on the Patriots chances for Sunday, which according to his column are pretty great, and the Texans running back is using a section of the piece for his Twitter avatar.

In all fairness, Shaugnessy isn’t alone in his opinion. There are few NFL experts giving the Houston Texans much positive praise when it comes to going against the Patriots again. After all, it was just about a month ago the Texans suffered a staggering 42-14 loss at the hands of New England, leading to questions about just how good Houston actually is.

And if you’re wondering how Shaughnessy feels about his work being used as Foster’s Twitter profile photo, it looks as if the Globe columnist is playing right along.

The back and forth is bound to only add more hype to Sunday’s matchup. The Texans are out for revenge after the 28-point loss, and Foster made it clear he and his team have something to prove.

“We owe them one,” Foster said when asked about his thoughts about a rematch with the Patriots.
