Weekend Watch List: April 5-7

The weekend’s finally here, TGIF! If you’re looking to catch up with your favorite teams, here’s who they’ll be playing and where you can find them this weekend.

Friday April 5

The Red Sox season is underway and the team completed a three-game series with the Yankees, finishing 2-1. The Sox will travel to Toronto for the weekend and play three games: Friday at 7:07 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 1:07 p.m. All games will be played at the Rogers Centre and will be broadcast on NESN.

If you want to catch a basketball game, the Celtics are taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. at TD Garden. The Celtics have a record of 39-36 and are coming off a 98-93 Wednesday night win over the Detroit Pistons, while the Cavaliers are 22-52. If you can’t get tickets, you can watch on CSNHD!

Saturday April 6

Two of the biggest rivals in sports history will meet again this weekend. The Bruins will travel to Montreal to face off against the Canadiens for the fourth and final game of the regular season. The B’s are one point behind the Habs in the Northeast Division standings with 52 points. Boston has a record of 24-8-4, while Montreal has a record of 24-8-5.The two teams last met on March 27 and the Habs have gone 2-1 in the last three match-ups. The puck will drop at 7:00 p.m. at the Bell Centre. You can catch the game on NESN or head to The Harp in Boston for a B’s versus Habs viewing party.

March Madness is coming to a close with the Final Four teams matching up this weekend. The Louisville Cardinals will play Wichita State in the first game, starting at 6:09 p.m. and Michigan State and the Syracuse Orange will match-up at 8:49 p.m. The championship game will be on April 8. You can catch the action on CBS or head to Game On! Fenway to watch the tournament action on one  of the bar’s 90 HDTV’s.

Sunday April 7

The Celtics will host the Washington Wizards at 6:00 p.m. at TD Garden. The Wizards are currently in third place in the Southeast Division with a record of 28-47. You can head down to the Garden or else catch the action on CSNHD!
