Belichick reportedly ‘hates’ Tebow

Sure, Tim Tebow is up for grabs, but don’t expect Bill Belichick to go reaching for him any time soon…or ever. Turns out, Belichick and his short-sleeve hoodies aren’t a fan of Tebow or Tebowmania.

People either love or hate Tebow, and it looks like Belichick is on the latter end of that spectrum. Mike Silver of Yahoo! reported that a source told him there’s no way the Patriots sign Tebow, and that Belichick actually “hates” Tebow as a player.

Silver says there’s no chance Tebow and his media parade make their way to Foxboro, and he’s probably right. I don’t see Belichick ever wanting to put up with everything that comes with Tebow, never mind the fact that Tebow probably doesn’t want to end up in a situation like he did with the Jets – not playing.

It’s not as if the Patriots are really looking for a starting quarterback. They have that one guy who’s pretty good…oh, right, his name’s Tom Brady. Many have speculated a position switch might be in order for Tebow, but I also don’t see  that happening in New England.

Silver also reported his source said there’s no way the Patriots would use Tebow in “change-of-pace” scenarios, requiring Brady to come off the field.

Guess Tebow and his “circus” will have to look elsewhere.
