Scott Hamilton the survivor and optimist

Published On July 29, 2019 | By Alice Cook

I interviewed Scott recently for WBUR’s “Only a Game.” He and I go way back in the world of figure skating. Scott won Olympic gold, I was just happy to be there.

In this interview Scott talks about his childhood illness, surviving cancer and battling three brain tumors.

Through it all he never lost his faith or sense of humor.
