Boston sports themed Halloween costumes

This Halloween, Boston sports have provided lots of great inspiration for costumes. Here at She’s Game we’ve compiled some funny ones so that you’re sure to be the hit of the party!

Everyone’s favorite Boston-bred gold medalist is sure to be a popular costume. Bonus points if you can get a friend to dress up as a not-impressed McKayla Maroney. All you need is a patriotic-themed leotard and some fake gold medals. Easy-peasy.

Gronk

Rob Gronkowski is a fan favorite here in New England not just for his touchdown spikes, but also his quotable interviews. My favorite Gronk quote? Last year’s “Yo soy fiesta” before the Super Bowl. What you need for this one is a Gronkowski jersey, a sombrero, and a football that you spike all night.

Boston’s favorite love-to-hate manager has finally been booted, however that doesn’t mean he won’t make a great Halloween costume! Years ago when he was manager for the Mets, he was ejected from a game, but tried to sneak back in wearing glasses and a fake mustache. For this one, you need a Sox jacket, Groucho Marx glasses, and a “will work for food” sign.

Tim Thomas

(James Lang/US PRESSWIRE)

There may be a lockout, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a hockey-themed outfit. The Bruin’s resident conspiracy theorist would make a perfect fit. All you need is a Tim Thomas jersey and to fashion yourself a tin foil hat, and you’re done!

Paul Pierce

(Mark L. Baer/ US PRESSWIRE)

Why not dress up as everyone’s favorite Celtic? All you need is a Pierce jersey and green headband. However, to really make this costume you need to literally be “The Truth”. You could have a lot of fun going around speaking nothing but facts. Whenever anyone asks you a question, give them the most truthful answer possible.
