Weekend watchlist: what to watch and where!
Seeing as the NHL just announced that they’ve cancelled all games through mid-January, we’re going to have another weekend with just football and basketball to keep us satisfied. The Patriots will be chasing warmer weather and heading down to Jacksonville, while the Celtics will be posting up at home in the Garden.
We’ve covered where and when to tune in this weekend!
The Patriots take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. on Sunday. You can catch all the action and all the other Sunday football games on CBS.
The Celtics will go head-to-head with the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. Friday night at the Garden. If you want to catch the game but don’t have a ticket, you can watch on CSNNE.
If you’re really craving some hockey, head down to Providence Friday night for the Providence Bruins tilt against the Worcester Sharks at 7:05 p.m. at the Dunkin Donuts Center. It’s also free keychain night, so be sure to get there early!
Planning to watch some college football on Saturday? Head to Ladder 133 Sports Bar & Grill in Providence to watch the game. They have 20 HD televisions for your viewing pleasure, and appetizers are half-off from noon to 3 p.m.
Looking for something to do with the kids on Saturday? Check out the WBZ NewsRadio 1030 at Winter Skate Kidcast mobile studio from 12-2 p.m. Your child can record his or her own news report at the mobile studio. Once you go home, you can find the report online and share with family and friends. Plus, check out the rest of Patriot Place for some last-minute Christmas shopping or a day of skating outdoors with the family.
Also, be sure to check out The Hall at Patriot Place during school vacation week. Any child 12 or under will receive a free 2012 Patriots Yearbook (normally $12.95) with admission ($5 for children 5-12, free for children under age 5).
