New York Post pokes fun at A-Rod, Yankees

Published On October 19, 2012 | By Jill Saftel

Alex Rodriguez caused quite a bit of media buzz when rumors swirled that he spent some of the ALCS Game 1 hitting on women once he was pulled from play. According to NESN, Rodriguez reportedly tossed Kyna Treacy, a bikini model, a ball with a note on it in an attempt to get her number.

The rest is history. The Yankees were swept by the Detroit Tigers and eliminated from the postseason. If we see Rodriguez with Treacy in a few weeks, we’ll know why.

It may seem like this is the end of the story, but leave it to the New York Post to keep it going. The Post went to town with its Friday cover, mere hours after the Yankees’ season ended.
