Weekend watchlist: Celtics and NFL playoffs

Celtics:

The Boston Celtics will have home court advantage for the next few games. On Friday, the Celtics will host the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Boston goes into this game standing at 18-17 while the Rockets are at 21-15. You can watch the game on CSNNE or listen in on WEEI 93.7FM.

After a weekend off, the Celtics will host the Carolina Bobcats on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The Bobcats are currently 9-25 and the Celtics are hoping for an easy win.

NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round

On Saturday the Baltimore Ravens will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on CBS. At 8 p.m., the San Francisco 49ers will host the Green Bay Packers on Fox.

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks will travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons at 1 p.m. on Fox. Then it’s the game we’ve all been waiting for: The New England Patriots host the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. on CBS.

Local:

The NHL will start next weekend and now is a good time to prepare for its comeback. On Friday, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team travels to North Andover to take on Merrimack College at 7:30 p.m. You can listen to the game on 1510 AM radio.

The Boston College Eagles also have a game Friday against the University of New Hampshire in Chestnut Hill at 7 p.m. You can catch this game on NESN if you’re unable to make. The rematch of Friday night’s game will be held Saturday night in New Hampshire.
