Gronk Gone Wild
Rob Gronkowski is already at it again this offseason doing what he does best. If there is a party, he will find it.
Gronk spent the week before this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans engaging in Gronk-like antics as he was caught partying it up. Several shirtless pictures of Gronk have circulated on Twitter and other social networking sites. The 23-year-old Patriots star headed from New Orleans to Baton Rouge to enjoy the company of Louisiana State University students at a bar named Bogie’s. Gronk clearly went well out of his way to party, as Baton Rouge is about 80 miles from New Orleans.
A year ago, on a hobbled ankle, the New England Patriots’ tight end famously danced without his shirt after his team lost to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.
This year, Gronk spent Super Bowl Sunday in Las Vegas and TMZ caught Gronk again dancing sans shirt at a local nightclub.
Growing tired of his old dance moves, Gronk began to wrestle a friend nearby. The 265-pound Gronk fake-kicked his friend in the groin, then attempted a DDT and fell awkwardly on his re-broken left arm.
The move may have been a crowd-pleaser in Vegas, but back in Foxborough, many Patriots fans are shaking their heads and wondering what Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft think of the tight end’s off-season behavior.
It remains to be seen whether Gronk will tone down his party antics and the Winter of Gronk will end before it really gets started.
